Terms and Conditions of Supply
Products ordered by you and supplied by licenseedirect.co.uk. Any Statutory Rights you may have remain in place at all times during and after the supply process is completed.
1. Order Acceptance - by the completion of our on-line ordering system via our web site www.licenseedirect.co.uk and following submission by you to our payment service provider World Pay. We also accept orders via fax and telephone, however, we reserve the right to apply a handling fee of up to 5 percent of the final order value for such orders at the discretion of our call centre agents.
2. Price - the prices payable for goods ordered by you are displayed on our web site and form our publicity material. From time to time we may alter or revise our prices according to market conditions either as a percentage increase or decrease at our discretion. Orders which have followed the acceptance process and been accepted for supply will not be subject to change.
2. 1 Payment for Goods Ordered - licenseedirect.co.uk only accepts payments via electronic payment cards as defined by our payment services provider HSBC.
3. Returns - we want you to be totally satisfied with the products you purchase from licenseedirect.co.uk; products maybe returned to us within 10 days of receipt for a full refund less a handling charge applicable to the product category, which we will inform you of and agree with you before any return takes place. A typical handling charge is 15% of the value of the goods supplied.
Before returning any product (s) you must contact us by e-mail at sales@licenseedirect.co.uk , please place the word “ Returns “ in the subject header of your e-mail, for a returns reference number before return shipping takes place. You must ensure the returns number is clearly shown of the outside of the returns package. The e-mail we send to you will give you the returns address for the type of product you no longer want and must not be sent to any other address than one we give to you in our e-mail.
All products returned must be unused and in their original packaging. Damaged or incorrectly supplied products will be replaced and accepted into stock at our cost which must be notified to us within 3 days of delivery to you, however, we may need sight of the products in some instances before sending replacement products or making monetary refunds. All refunds will be made via our payment service provider World Pay to your payment card within 7 days of receiving the products back into stock.
4. Stock Availability - licenseedirect.co.uk holds sufficient stock in all product categories to meet all orders. Sometimes, however, due to excessive demand for our quality products we may be out of stock of a particular product. Where this is the case you will be notified by e-mail of the expected delivery date and given an option to cancel your order for the out of stock item with a refund being made to the payment card used to make the original purchase.
5. Delivery - all products in our warehouses are despatched within 24 hours from receipt of order to a UK main land address. You can obtain a more prompt delivery service by selecting the most appropriate to your needs on our web site. Please note that you may receive separate delivery consignments to complete your order in total. If you have any questions on an order completion or part delivery consignment, please e-mail sales@licenseedirect.co.uk stating your order number in the subject header of your e-mail.
The risk for loss or damage to products passes to you upon acceptance of delivery. If you are in any doubt as to the condition of the products when received please sign the delivery note “ not examined” and notify licencessdirect.co.uk within 3 days of receiving the delivery.
6. Delivery Delays – licenseedirect.co.uk accepts no responsibility or liability for any failure what so ever for any event or circumstance that is outside it’s immediate and reasonable control.
7. Law – a contract between licenseedirect.co.uk and you is governed by and subject to English law, with the jurisdiction of English courts resolving any dispute that may arise between us.
8. Variation – the contract between licenseedirect.co.uk and you cannot be varied when orders are accepted via our normal acceptance methods previously outlined this to applies to the whole length of any contract. Any contact variation must be agreed in writing our two parties.
9. Exclusion of our liability – licenseedirect.co.uk does not accept any liability what so ever for any loss of revenue, profit, good will or any consequential loss direct or indirect arising out of the purchase of any of our products by you from us. It is your responsibility and liability to ensure that the products you ordered from licenseedirect.co.uk are fit for the purpose you intended. No claim for non-performance or will be accepted from you where you have ordered a product which was not fit for a purpose that you intended. We may accommodate you under our returns policy mentioned above if you made a genuine mistake at the time of ordering.
10. Use of licenseedirect.co.uk web site – being available over a public medium as the internet is you are responsible for keeping your account access log in details secret to you. If someone other than yourself logs in to your account using your user name and password licenseedirect.co.uk automatically assumes you have given your permission. We will not be responsible or liable for any loss resulting for the misuse of your password.
